  5. My fault
  6. Fading away
  7. Consequences

Now I have to go sleep.

Total word count: 25 133

I’ve seen Final Destination 1 and 2, and have read The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I’ve also written 829 new words since the last word count. And I’ve done my homework. It’s not even 7 pm. That it is what I call a good, productive weekend. I’ve also watched The X Factor and The Xtra Factor.

One of the many the disadvantages of going back to school is that I haven’t written (on the computer) all week, so my hands are very sore right now. When writing becomes my full-time career, I’m definitely going to need a hand therapist.

Here’s one paragraph from my novel, chapter 7:

Under the tap, I cup my hands and watch the stream of water fill them. I look straight into the mirror and, because no one else is there, tell myself: “Everything is going to be fine. It might not be now, but it will be. It has to be.” I drink the water and leave.

Do no steal. It’s MINE. I wrote it. And don’t try to make sense of it, you won’t be able to: you haven’t read anything else. Unless you read the first three chapters when they were still on fiction press. Now they’re gone. I’ll only post my novel when it’s complete and edited. So maybe… Christmas? New Year’s?

Anyway, I’m off to either watch Final Destination 3 or shower. This depends on my sister having finished her homework.

Oh! How could I forget: I SAW INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Artistically beautiful, violent, funny, great dialogue that leads nowhere plot-wise: something only Tarantino can accomplish.

I have got to see some more of his movies.

Life is busy

So busy I have no time to sleep — or go onto the computer. The only reason I am now is because I have no homework for tomorrow. Thank god.

Also, I think I’ve lost some weight. Or the weight scale is faulty. Losing a kilo in so little time — possible? I think so, considering I cut back on chips, choco, cakes, biscuits, ice cream, fizzy drinks and there are a LOT of stairs at school. Ifyou know me and how much I usually eat, then you know I’ve cut back A LOT.

Tomorrow I’m going to see "Inglourious Basterds". And last night I saw "Reservoir Dogs". I LOVE Quentin Tarantino! :DDDD I’ve also seen "Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill" vol 1 and 2. I also need to see "Deathproof" and "From Dusk till Dawn", ‘cuz vampires and Tarantino have to be awesome!

Now, how to express my joy of finally going to see "Inglourious Basterds" tomorrow at 8.30 pm… Hmm…

Imagine a little Kayleigh inside my empty head — brain away for a few minutes — doing cartwheels so fast she’s a blur. THAT’S how happy I am.

Also, that was quite some time ago, the cartwheels, and it’s still a blur.

Um, I think I’m going to go to bed now, before 11.40 pm. For the first time, I won’t be exhausted tomorrow. 🙂

I’m so going to regret going to bed at midnight, but… *drumroll*

I wrote 1104 words!

Kayleigh’s Writing Angel: Admit it.

*Grumbles* Fine, I admit it, most of those words were already written on a piece of paper. BUT copying those words helped me: I added new words and, and… And I’m too tired to think properly now. Goodnight.

Saturday

I woke up some time at 11. It’s now midday, and I still haven’t eaten or done anything besides watch Friends, go on twitter, send an sms, and blog. Pitiful.

So, without further ado, my to-do list:

  • Watch Ocean’s Twelve
  • Watch Reservoir Dogs
  • Writechapter 7, plot chapter 8
  • Read "The Wolf"
  • Call Rosie
  • Reply Soum and Anais on Facebook
  • Post on LJ — Hey, I’ve done that! Let’s strike it out.
  • Get school stuff done (buying books, covering books, and whatever)
  • X-Factor at 8 or 9 pm (Not sure)
  • Ask Papa to buy "Tricks" (1. I call my dad "Papa" not because we’re old-fashioned (you know, 50 years ago or maybe 60/70 kids called their dad "Papa" because they were rich/posh. I call him that because it’s the French word for dad.) and 2. I NEED to read Tricks. I love Ellen Hopkins’ books. Btw: read her LJ. Now: ellenhopkins.livejournal.com/)
  • Edit chapter 3 (I’ve been meaning to do this for a month now… And it’s not even my chapter. Bad Kayleigh, bad.)

So, yeah, that’s it. I’m going to go eat now.
