Changeling: Until I’d seen Angelina Jolie in this movie, I’d never really thought of her as a good actress. But wow, she was REALLY good in this. I kept on forgetting she was the actress portraying the character. It’s based on the true story of a mother’s son who goes missing and how the police returns him to her. Except it’s not him. It’s a child lying and pretending. Anyway, the scene where she sits on her real son’s bed and holds his teddy bear and cries was heartbreaking. She looked like a child, a lost child. Beautiful scene… And I LOVED the ending. It’s how the real story ended–it wasn’t hollywoodized. For that, I say “Changeling” is a great movie.
Donnie Darko: Wow. What can I say about Donnie Darko? Well right now, it’s half-past three in the morning, so I can’t really formulate an opinion about it. Let’s use shorts words, shall we?
- Strange movie
- Beautiful song, “Mad World”
- LOVED the character Donnie
- I saw it twice in two/three days
7 days: Canadian horror movie I saw at a party a couple of weeks ago. Even though it was only 1h40, it felt MUCH longer. Ending wasn’t satisfying.
Cabaret: Loved it. Brilliant.
The Brave One: Not what I expected of a thriller. Okay-ish.
