Supernatural
Sunday, I finally started watching Supernatural: I got all 4 seasons for X-mas. Monday, because of snow, no school. So… I finished season 1 with my sister. Let me just say this:
I LOVE DEAN!
Seriously, that smile of his and he’s got great, funny lines. And the arguing with Sam and caring about Sam, his little brother and… *sigh* Sorry if I’m fangirling. Anyway, we started season 2 today and we’ve already seen 3 episodes, even though I only got home after 6.45 pm. (I finished school at 6.) Tomorrow, we’re finishing disc 1 and watching the whole of disc 2; that’s a guarantee.
Writing
I reached 10 055 words, like the progress bar on the right shows. However, I’m behind the schedule I gave myself. So I changed it and my goal is to finish this novel by the 8th of April, making it 7 months from start to the end of the 1st draft, which is what happened for Kenna’s Choice. I’m hoping 7 months is magical and will work for this novel too.
Books/School
I’m busy reading “Wintergirls” and more recently, as in today, “A Clockwork Orange.” I’m infinitely grateful to myself for bringing it to school because it turned out I had no Italian lesson and I didn’t know because of an sms that didn’t get through. So I read that between 8 and 9. I’m not reading as much as I’d like to be…
Snow/School
Last Thursday it snowed and then Friday it had melted enough to go to school, but I wasn’t feeling well to I stayed home, and then Monday there was ice on the roads and because we live in the boonies (kinda) (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=boonies) the roads hadn’t been salted to stop the snow from icing. So… We were stuck at home. (He, stuck. When I say the word “stuck” I make it sound like I wanted to be at school, don’t I? :).)
Anyway, that’s how I watched 1 season of 22 episodes of 40 minutes each in 2 days. Another way I did that: melting my brain. I swear, I kinda needed to go back to school to get my brain functioning again. Writing this blog post and thinking about novel in class helped too.
By the way, there’ll be a kewpie doll for whoever gets the quote in the title. (And a second doll for whoever gets the second quote; and no, I’m not telling you where the second one is. It’s pretty obvious.) (Well, maybe it’s only obvious to fans of the TV show.) (And oh look, there’s a clue right there.)
(I’m gonna stop with the brackets now.)
(Now.)
Bye.
