In 525 600 minutes maybe? I think I’ll stick to months:
[NOTE: I know, this wasn’t the original title and beginning of blog post, but I just thought of it and I really wanted a Rent reference because I LOVE Rent.]
In Jan ’09, I was still in the French version of middle school, “college” with an accent on the “e.” I was 14 and I couldn’t wait to go to my international high school.
In March, I turned 15 (my favorite number!)
In May, I started writing Kenna’s Choice.
June ’09, I did the “brevet” and passed with a 12/20, or something like that.
In July, I saw my best friends for two weeks and we did a lot of crazy stuff that I won’t mention here because it’s private.
In August, I spent three weeks at a house we rented with a pool. That’s where I started writing Playing with Darts.
In September, I started “lycee”/high school.
In November, I participated in NaNoWriMo.
In December, I finished Kenna’s Choice.
Hmm, what else have I done/accomplished? I’ve seen a LOT of movies, read quite a lot of books, and written a few poems and maybe one short story. Writing-wise, quite a good year. I may have also given up on a novel before I started Kenna’s Choice…
Social life-wise, nothing. Well, I went to one party between September and now. Ah well, I’ve gotten use to not having a social life and I don’t mind. Much.
In my defence, I’m only 15 (going on 16), so the fact that I haven’t accomplished much or done much else is normal. And writing a novel is more than most teens do. (Well, the ones I know. I know that there are, in the world, plenty of teens who have written a novel this year.)
What about you? What are your accomplishments?
